Root to Rise

Summer Solstice Yoga & Wellness Retreat

Sweden | June 15-19, 2026

Ground. Recenter. Energize.

Celebrate the summer solstice—the longest day of the year—the Swedish way. Traditionally, this is a time to pause, check in with yourself, and realign your priorities. The summer solstice is a season of growth, abundance, and possibility. This five-day retreat invites you to connect with that energy in a calm, grounded way. You’ll return home feeling centered, energized, and ready to carry the light of summer into the months ahead.

Set at a peaceful spa hotel surrounded by forest and water, the retreat offers a gentle rhythm of movement, rest, and time outdoors. Start your days with morning yoga and end with light-filled evenings in the sauna or by the water. Between sessions, kayak through the archipelago, walk in nature, make midsummer flower crowns, and savor fresh, organic meals. You’ll also explore lagom, the Swedish approach to balanced, joyful living.

Why Sweden?

In Sweden, Midsummer is more than a holiday—it’s a heartfelt celebration of life, love, and light. Communities gather to honor nature at its peak, dancing, feasting, and welcoming the season of growth together.

Swedish culture beautifully mirrors yoga philosophy:

  • Deep connection to nature

  • Respect for balance and simplicity

  • Care for body, mind, and community

Root to Rise weaves these traditions together into a truly unique retreat that blends yoga, wellness, exploration, and authentic Swedish midsummer magic.

Retreat Highlights:

  • Daily yoga & meditation aligned with solstice energy

  • Inspiring wellness workshops and seasonal rituals

  • Traditional midsummer flower crowns & cultural experiences

  • Kayaking and nature walks in the archipelago

  • Day trip to explore the stunning Swedish coast

  • Organic, locally sourced meals & daily Swedish fika

  • Four nights of private-room accommodation

  • Ample free time for rest, reflection, sauna and spa indulgence

To keep the experience personal and spacious, the retreat is limited to just 10 participants.
